Daydreamer Challenge: Day 7

I can’t believe it’s already day 7 of the daydreamer challenge! Thank you Caitlin for coming up with this challenge!

Today our task is to write about our favorite day/task.

honestly, I thought they were all fun to write about. I think it gave our readers a chance to learn a little bit more about ourselves.

I think day 2 and day 6 were probably my favorites because I learned a little bit more about everyone with these two days. On day 2, we were asked to pick a word or photo that represents us and I thought it was really interesting to see what people posted and why they felt that it represented them well. On day 6, we had a massive Q&A with questions from everyone participating in the daydreamer challenge. It was super fun getting to answer all the questions.

Overall, this challenge was super fun and I got to know people on a more personal level because of what they wrote for the various days. I also found new blogs to follow and I thought that was pretty awesome too!

Thank you, again, Caitlin for coming up and hosting this challenge!

What was your favorite post I wrote about?

Daydreamer Challenge: Day 6

Wow, it’s coming to and end. It’s day 6 of the daydreamer challenge. It was super fun being apart of it!

Today, it’s a sort of Q&A. Everyone participating had to write a question and now it’s all been compiled and we were asked to answer them today as part of the challenge. Here  it goes

Where do you draw your inspiration? (K.E Wilson)

Either way. As long as someone is reading my blog, that’s all that really matters to me.

What is the most awkward situation you’ve ever been in? (Gess Pressing Words)

My life is an awkward situation.

If you could have someone’s blog for a month, whose blog would it be? (Sophie Speaks Up)

I don’t know. Everyone’s blog is pretty amazing tbh

nope. I’ve never had that problem before. I usually like to make sure what I post is appropriate for everyone.

That was super fun! There were some hard questions but it was still fun nonetheless. Sorry if i couldn’t answer some of the questions. I tried but some were too hard for me to think of an answer.

What’s your favorite question from above?

Daydreamer Challenge: day 5

It’s day 5 of the daydreamer challenge!

Today, we were simply asked to write about our goals/achievements for our blog.

When I first started this blog, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with it. I had an idea of where I wasted to go with this blog but at the same time, I wasn’t too sure. After I started blogging a couple of things and started following various blogs, I realized what I wanted to do with this blog.

While this blog does follow my college journey, I want to help other people with their transitions to college when they do attend/help with life in general. My goal for this blog I guess is for it to be help or a sort of inspiration for other people to look at. Also, I wanted this to be a space where I can share my ideas and thoughts on things because yeah I like to talk a lot, but not everyone will listen to my rambling thoughts so I decided to write it out, blog form.

I have been nominated for numerous blog awards and I thank you all for nominating me! I’ve also gotten blog views from all over the world and I’m so happy/excited that people from all over for looking at my blog/following me. I didn’t think people would want to follow me and my rambling and so to each and every one of my followers, thank you so much for following me.

What’s your favorite phone app?

Daydreamer Challenge: Day 3

Day 3 of the challenge! Check it out if you haven’t already!

Today, our task was to say something nice about another blog. There are way too many amazing blogs here I couldn’t pick just one!

Teenage Daydreamer: obviously Caitlin! I came across her blog when I first started my blog and I loved her posts! Her posts are very relatable and very entertaining to read! If you aren’t following her, definitely check out her blog. You won’t regret it!

Hann: Hannah’s blog is full of awesome posts as well! She writes short stories, poems, etc and they’re all so amazing to read. She writes a little bit about her life, which are all very relatable and it’s just an overall fun blog to follow!

College With Ashley: Ashley’s blog is about her college experiences. I really like her blog because y’all know I’m also a college student and I’m also blogging about it. All of her posts are super relatable because I probably have the same thoughts about certain things or experiencing new and similar things. Definitely a blog to follow if you’re in college or about to enter college!

Everyones blogs here are amazing. If I could, I would list everyone but that would take me way to long to write about each and every one of you. Well I guess thats it for today.

Who are some of your favorite bloggers?

Daydreamer Challenge: Day 2

So today is Day 2 of the Daydreamer Challenge! Again, if y’all participating, you should! You can find more info here.

Today, our challenge was either to pick a photo or word that represents us and to write/elaborate on it. I’m sort of combining the two together because I think a photo and the word kind of represents who I am, erm who I kind of strive to be.

images

After thinking for a while, I’ve decided that the best word that describes who I am is ‘service’ and I chose a helping hand as a photo to kind of represent it.

serv·ice (n) | ˈsərvəs |: the work performed by one that serves; contribution to the welfare of others (Merriam Webster dictionary definition)

I think the word service kind of reflects who I am and who I strive to be. Volunteering is a part of who I am. In grade and middle school, I was constantly asking my teachers if there was anything I could do to help around the classroom during recess and after school while I waited for my parents to pick me up. Whether it be cleaning up, grading papers, helping to decorate the classroom, etc. I was always asking if I could help.

In high school, I was required to volunteer as a graduation requirement. I never saw it as a chore or something I had to do just to be able to graduate. I never dreaded going to volunteer nor did I ever do just the bare minimum. Each year, we were required to help a different area (freshman =disabled children; sophomore = children; junior = elderly; senior = economically disadvantaged). I thought it was awesome that my school kind of “forced” people against their will to volunteer because it makes a huge impact on other peoples lives. My graduating class itself had 450+ students and each person had to do 10+ hours a year to graduate. The amount of hours we have put into service and helping our community is enormous. Though some people have only have done the bare minimum, the work was still done and a difference was made in someone’s life.

I’ve always loved doing service and volunteering. Helping people and just knowing i’m making a difference in someones life is amazing to me. Though volunteering and trying to help others, I’ve kind of found the path I wanted to take in terms of my career. I’m currently a pre-medicine student, striving to go to medical school and eventually work with Doctors Without Borders. I want to travel the world and give medical attention to others who do not receive sufficient medical attention or any medical attention.

I want to help make the world a better place. I’m not fighting for world peace or forcing people to have the same beliefs as me or anything, I just want to aid people who are less fortunate than I am. People should have a chance at life and not feel that they are stuck in one position.

Whats one word you use to describe yourself?

The Daydreamer Award

the-daydreamer-award1

I was nominated by Caitlin for the Daydreamer award! I am honored and thrilled that she nominated me. The award is “for the blogs that make you laugh, are inspiring, provoke your curiosity or are just unbelievably creative.” Everyone should go check out her blog too!

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award.

2. Complete the challenge they set you.

3. Select a blog or blogs that you want to give the award to. (The amount of blogs you select is unlimited!)

4. Tell them about it and set them a challenge.

(Please include the rules in your post).

[You can use the image I have used for the award!]

My challenge was if I could create an app, what would it do and what would it be called?

ummmmmmmm well….

Sixhourslater

OH if I could create my own app, I would create an app that can create a menu or a dish based on the ingredients you currently have at hand. Like, say you only have rice, vegetables and a protein, you type it into the app and it’ll pop up with a list of recipe suggestions to see what you can make without having to go to the store. Does that make sense? I think it’d be pretty cool if an app like this existed.

I just recently started this blog, and don’t follow very many people. I can’t really nominate people at this time but will continue to update this as this blog continues to develop and I’ll nominate people then 🙂
